Simucube 2 Sport is a direct drive wheelbase manufactured in Finland, the entry point into Simucube's 2 Series lineup below the Pro and Ultimate. It delivers 17 Nm of peak torque with no cogging or torque ripple, through a 22-bit absolute angle sensor for precise wheel position tracking. Its torque slew rate (how quickly the motor can change output force) is rated at up to 4.8 Nm/ms and adjustable from 1 to 4.8 Nm/ms, roughly 60% of the Pro's maximum rate, in line with its lower torque ceiling. It runs on Simucube True Drive software, with slew rate, friction, damping, inertia, and torque reconstruction filters configurable per car and per simulator, along with static force reduction. Wireless wheel support is built in, and the motor's efficient design allows fanless cooling. The wheelbase measures 130 × 130 × 250mm and weighs 8 kg, running on a 280W power supply. Wheel mounting uses the Simucube SQR quick release (4× M8 threaded holes, 145mm bolt pattern); the Quick Release side parts are sold separately.
