Your payment is held securely and never released to the seller until you confirm the item arrived as described. You're always in control.
What's covered
Buyer Protection applies automatically to every completed purchase. You're covered in the following situations:
Item never arrived
The seller marked the order as shipped but the item never showed up, or tracking shows it's been lost in transit.
Item not as described
The item you received is materially different from what was listed — wrong model, wrong condition, undisclosed damage, or missing accessories that were described as included.
Item damaged in transit
The item arrived visibly damaged due to insufficient packaging on the seller's part. Photo evidence required when opening a dispute.
What's not covered
Buyer Protection is designed for genuine problems — not change of mind. The following situations fall outside its scope:
Change of mind
You decided you don't want the item after purchasing. Topsplitters does not support returns for buyer's remorse.
Compatibility issues
The item works perfectly but doesn't fit your rig or isn't compatible with your setup. It's your responsibility to verify compatibility before purchasing.
Damage after confirmation
You confirmed receipt and then discovered damage. Once you confirm, the transaction is considered complete.
How to open a dispute
Go to your order history, find the transaction and select "Open dispute". Describe what happened, attach photos if relevant, and submit. Our team picks it up within 24 hours. Do not confirm receipt if the item looks wrong — once confirmed, the 3-day dispute window begins.
Returns
If a dispute is resolved in your favour, the seller provides a prepaid return label within 48 hours. Once tracking confirms the item is on its way back, your refund is processed immediately — you don't need to wait for the seller to receive it.
