Ascher Racing Dashboard 8" is a telemetry display unit designed and made in Germany, CNC-machined from anodized aluminum and under 18mm thick — not 3D-printed, unlike many competing products. It uses a 7.85" resistive touchscreen running at 1200×400 resolution with 16-bit color and 350 lm brightness, operable without removing racing gloves. Twenty-six independently addressable RGB LEDs are split across two roles: 16 across the top act as shift lights, and 10 more (5 per side) serve as flag and alert indicators. All follow Ascher's SteadiColor design — individually housed to prevent light bleed, with stable color even at very low brightness. Power and data run through a single high-bandwidth, angled USB-C cable, with a separate on/off pushbutton on the back. Two carbon mounting brackets are included, covering Simucube 1/2/3, Asetek, Fanatec, VRS, Simagic Alpha, and MiGE & Lenze-based wheelbases, plus a ¼" mount for broader compatibility. Software integration runs through official SimHub support, with full control over dashboard and LED behavior. The dashboard also benefits from Ascher's collaboration with Lovely Sim Racing, adding extra features when paired with their Artura Series wheels.
